Remember these?

Soon after I posted about them, I bought 'em. And heard nothing for a month.

Lo and behold, they appear yesterday, on my doorstep. In a super-duper-snazzy packing job:

Ok, sweet, shoes!!! I unpack the mess and find:

Hmm, where's my free gift bag? Dang, whoever sat/played hackysack/slept on my shoes squished the heels! Raar! OH, but these mysterious Indonesian beauty products TOTALLY make up for it:

Sigh. They're pretty cool, super-light, lined with hipster plaid, and cute and pointy... but someone needs to work on ze customer service department at Wear Everyday. Ya.

I've been mulling over summer footwear for, oh, three weeks now, and lo and behold, last night I saw these:

Vegan? Check. Fair Trade? Check. Affordable? Check. The tanks and slip-ons (elsewhere on weareveryday.com) don't really do it for me, but thanks to the new (sadly, not vegan) saddle shoe Vans I've been seeing everywhere, I got me a rockabilly shoe craving. 

They will be mine. Oh yes. They will be mine.
